Recommended workflow today:

Use the free HP Smart app on a computer near the scanner.
Scan directly to PDF and save to the desktop or a “Scans” folder.
Drag the PDF(s) into the drop zone above or click “Upload files”.

Future: We can set up a watched folder on a trusted office Mac/PC that auto-uploads to the real S3 backend (authenticated) or you can use the scanner’s “scan to email” to a monitored secure address.

How it works

Files land in /RenkCorp Office Vault/Category/Year/ in your Dropbox.
Install the Dropbox app on your Mac — that folder syncs locally (and to any other linked device).
For iCloud: point a Mac backup tool at the Dropbox folder, or use Dropbox as your primary off-site copy.
